24 and 25 May National Studio Weekend
On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 May, I will participate in the National Studio Weekend with hundreds of other artists. Take this unique opportunity to step into my studio and experience the work and creative process up close. During the weekend I will show a selection of my glass 3D objects and my bronze sculptures. Come and look around, ask questions and discover how an idea develops into a work of art. I hope to see you!

New: Harlequino
The checkered suit of a harlequin inspired Rineke to make Harlequino. If you look through it, the colors of the ‘pixels’ mix into the most delicious summer pastels. It makes you feel good!

New: Quadruplets
Rineke made quadruplets of blue droplets through which plenty of light can pass. The work gives a feeling of a nice fresh shower at the end of a warm lazy day.

New: Gradient
Glass, as transparent as the sky to let light through, or colored to filter the light. In each of Gradient’s stack of pixels, a colored element is replaced by a clear element. The beautiful gradient of color is the result, from deep golden to completely clear.

Atelier Gemert ready for use
It has been quiet around Rineke’s work for a long time due to her move from Elst to the Brabant village of Gemert. In the meantime, a lovely light studio has been set up where Rineke can finally get back to work! Rineke had been walking around with a plan for a new glass fusion object for a while and the implementation of the plan started today. Great to be able to get back to work!

New: Mistral
The image of pine trees and cypresses in the wind was the inspiration for Rineke in creating this high work Mistral. It stands firmly, but leans in the direction of the prevailing wind.
