Ribbon
Description
A ribbon or ribbon is often worn as a reminder of an important event in the past. A special act, a struggle against an illness or as a thank you for long-term commitment, commitment to a good cause. Ribbons represent a dignified past that must also be seen in the future. This is also the case with this coloured glass ribbon that curls around its pedestal. With a new design but with characteristic techniques that Rineke used before.
Ribbon was specially made for the Glass Past exhibition that the Glass Art Foundation is organizing from 6 to 21 March 2027 in Cannenburgh Castle in Vaassen. Rineke will exhibit a selection of her work there.
