It was a hustle and bustle at the Art Fair Elst 2022. The viewers were surprised that the drawings, the glass and the bronze were made by one and the same artist. Rineke often had to explain how she combined that. Many people walked on with a happy face after the visit and a few bought a work to take home. Wonderful weekend!

Today I did some preparations for the Art Fair Elst on 26 and 27 November in the Ruimte in Elst. Come and have a look!

I occasionally publish my work on Het Kunstcollectief, a Facebook group with 6,700 members. With glass sculpture Radiant I was one of the winners of a competition with the theme Glass. The work of the 4 winners is shown in the cover photo of the group. Nice, and secretly I’m also quite proud!

On 26 and 27 November the Art Fair Elst will be held. Rineke will exhibit her work there together with more than 30 other local artists.

A horse coming out of the waves, a mushroom with holes in it and two beach birds, all not finished yet. New bronze statues in development, if they are ultimately completely to Rineke’s liking.

To make work from glass, glass must of course also be available. Rineke visited her supplier and felt like a child in the candy store. So many colors of glass!
