New: Pendant
In the Royal Albert Memorial Museum RAMM in Exeter, Rineke saw a beautiful gold brooch from the period 1300-1400. The shape of a circle with a six-pointed star inspired her to make pendants from bronze. They are patinated in three ways, giving each pendant its own appearance.

New: Chives
This summer from one day to the next, the chives started to bloom with plenty of those lovely purple flowers. That gave the idea for this glass object, Chives.

New: Rays
The rays of Rays are bright and predominantly translucent in color. Light plays through them, casting beautifully colored shadows. Rays deserves a spot in the sun.

New: Uhuru
Uhuru — not just the sound of an owl, but also the Swahili word for freedom. The freedom everyone desires so deeply — animals included. Read the story of Rineke and an owlet; Kenya, 1992.

Art dealership on the Grote Kerkhof – Deventer
On Sunday, August 23, 2026 from 11:00 to 17:00, I will stand with my glass and bronze on one of the most beautiful squares in the Netherlands, the Grote Kerkhof in Deventer. It will be a spontaneous, intimate pop-up gallery avant la lettre!

Looking back at Reflections in Glass 2026
What a wonderful weekend of Reflections in Glass 2026 we have experienced at Kunst in het Kerkje. Carolin Zibulka and I had more than 500 enthusiastic visitors. Our work was appreciated, as was evident from the reactions but also from the purchases. We thank all visitors, the organization and wish all new owners a lot of fun with new art for their home!
