New: Polder
The vast rectangular fields of arable farming in the Flevopolder were the inspiration for creating this work, Polder. Repeating blocks, intersected with interruptions, but in glass. Fantastic for those who love patterns.

Visit to showroom Carolin Zibulka
In the weekend Rineke visited the new showroom of Carolin Zibulka in Kleve, just across the border near Nijmegen. Carolin creates beautiful 3D glass panels with a technique she calls Lavacoating. In her showroom you can admire and possibly purchase a piece of her collection of artwork. On Saturdays and Sundays you can visit her by appointment.
Rineke and Carolin organized the duo exhibition together last year during Reflections in Glass in the Kerkje in Persingen and can be seen together again this year. But before then, a visit to Carolin’s showroom is well worth it!

New: Remembrance
The Airgunners from the Second World War, were present at the commemoration of the dead in Rineke’s former hometown of Dronten. Their relatives each place a ‘poppy’ to commemorate their loved ones. War always only leaves loss. Lest we forget.

20 and 21 April: Open studio days
Would you like to come and see where Rineke works, see her latest pieces in real life or talk about her work over a drink? Then come to the studio in Elst on Saturday 20 or Sunday 21 April! You are welcome between 10:00 and 17:00.
These Open Studio Days are planned by Dutch Luxury Design. There are more artists who participate, so you can combine the visit.

New: Honeycomb
Intriguing, regular and beautiful in color. You can see that when you look at a honeycomb. The repeating pattern with the golden-yellowish color of honey underneath. Rineke wants to convey the essence of this in this glass work of art. Not hexagonal, but with the regular pattern of cells filled with glorious goodness.

New: Spring meadow
Rineke really loves flowers. Especially in the spring when it has taken too long before there was something new to see in nature. When the first flowers emerge in the grass, it is a wonderful moment. She has captured that feeling in this glass work Spring meadow.
