New: Pink slate
Pink slate from Canada, like Rineke’s glass art, is made up of layers. Due to the slanted position of the work, the layers of glass seem to slide away from each other as if you were looking into a quarry. But in bright pink glass, beautiful!
Enjoyed the busy Glasmarkt Lommel
The Glasmarkt Lommel celebrated its 10th anniversary this year and presented no less than 80 stands with glass.
Rineke was of course also present and enjoyed the large crowds and compliments for her work.
Thank you Glasmarkt Lommel and Glazen Huis for the excellent organization.
Congratulations new owners of Rineke’s work, we hope you will enjoy it for a long time.
New: Confetti
Celebrate life, it’s a party! Sprinkle a few handfuls of confetti on top and the party is complete. That’s the feeling Rineke had when she started making this glass piece of art. The work turned out as intended, again a reason for a party!
Sunday 4 August – Glasmarkt Lommel
Rineke shows her glass art on Sunday 4 August at the Glasmarkt in the centre of Lommel, 35 km south of Eindhoven. Due to the 10th anniversary of the successful market, it will be an extra large and festive edition with 80 international participants.
New: Eyelashes
Eyes are often the first thing you notice about someone. The eyelashes around them give eyes a beautiful frame. Rineke expresses this in glass. But if you look through the eyelashes, you see something completely different, it looks like an optical illusion!
New: Trophy
During the European Championships in early June 2024, Rineke got the jitters. With so much sport coming up, there had to be a trophy. Shiny and sparkling, dedicated to all participants. With the arms in the air, it became Trophy. Congratulations to all of this summer’s winners.
New: Spitze
Spitze, such a high! Rineke wanted to experiment with a triangular shape and that worked out well. The strips of blue glass are slightly wider, creating a nice relief on the piece. With a small vista in the middle. Richtig Spitze!
New: Nexus
Rineke’s breathtaking artwork ‘Nexus’ consists of 3 groups of elements that are rotated in relation to each. As a result, the view changes depending on your own point of view. The Nexus, or core, is contained within a larger turquoise boundary. It is eventually enclosed by a deep blue sparkling wall. Amazing!
GAPi Exposition Water – Land
From 29 June to 29 August, two glass 3D objects by Rineke can be seen in the Land-Water Exhibition, organised by GAPi. The exhibition will be held in De Stadskazerne in Kampen. There are 37 participants in the exhibition from 9 different countries. You are very welcome at the opening on 29 June at 15:00.
New: Blue moon
Sometimes there is a season with not three but four full moons. The third of those three full moons is then called the Blue Moon. A special event. Rineke made a beautiful Blue moon, high in the sky on a crystal clear glass stand of 30 cm high! Special, because you look right through it and still can’t see where the fourth quarter of that full moon is!
