Wonderful weekend at Persingen
On 9 and 10 August 2025, Rineke Nijssen and Carolin Zibulka exhibited their work together in the exhibition Reflections in Glass – 2025 in the beautiful Church of Persingen near Nijmegen. A lovely sunny day with plenty of light in the church, ideal to show the work. The almost 200 visitors who came in often stopped at the entrance to let the whole thing sink in. You could hear the sighs and exclamations of wonder when you stood close to it. What a beautiful exhibition! During the tour of the artworks, they noticed how the work reinforced each other through the interplay of color and form with which the pieces were placed together, exactly as intended by the artists. It was enjoyment to the fullest for both the makers and the viewers.
A group of two sisters and a brother with roots in Italy decided, given their background, to buy Rineke’s work Cassata . It will be placed at one of their homes in turn. One of the sisters asked: “But can it be with me at Christmas?” Thank you to all buyers of pieces from Rineke and Carolin, We wish you a lot of fun with your purchase! It feels fantastic that viewers and buyers enjoy the work of these two toppers so much!
And thank you Caro, for the always nice cooperation ☺️ See you next time when we can be seen together in the Zutphen Glass Expo on November 1 and 2.
