Rineke lived in Dronten for more than 25 years. She enjoyed the Flevoland landscape. The vast rectangular plots of arable farming together form a beautiful pattern. Especially when you look at it from the air. The repeating colors, different per crop, were the inspiration for creating this work called “Polder”. Repeating blocks, intersected with interruptions, but in glass. Fantastic for those who love patterns.
