In the early 90s, Rineke lived with Koos for a few years in the town of Naivasha in Kenya. At the same time, an English couple also lived there, Gary and Joanna. With children of the same age, we sought each other out and a nice friendship developed. Even after the years in Kenya, we visited each other from time to time. Gary and Joanna now run the beautiful rural wedding venue Higher Holcombe in Devon, England. Rineke made two connected hearts as a present for a visit to them.
