It just depends on how you look at the rain. From a distance, a heavy shower looks gray, purplish sometimes and the water comes down in gusts. Up close, a droplet looks very different. Brighter, more sparkling and gorgeous! It inspired Rineke to create this composition of rain, from afar but also in close up.
